QuickSim
QuickSim is a sophisticated computer program that allows you to test
a "Software breadboard" of a digital hardware design. There are many simulation
tools we will used in the labs in this quarter. QuickSim is only for Logic
circuits, not for analog circuits. It is an interactive logic simulator
that allows you to verify the functionality of models of electronic designs.
QuickSim operates on a model of a digital logic circuit, which consists
of parts that you have connected together using design creation applications,
such as Design
Architect. The components in circuits should be supported by QuickSim.
In our lab, fet3 in SDL
parts is supported by QuickSim, however, fet4 can not be simulated by QuickSim.
