on a project supported by the Sea Grant College Program/NOAA, Patent
Number 5,948,279, issued on September
7, 1999.
- Inventor
for a U.S. Patent, "Mechanical Device for Controlling Zebra Mussels
in Water Conduits," Patent Number 5,578,116, issued on November 26, 1996.
- Received
the Outstanding Service Award from the Ohio
River Basin Consortium for
Research and Education, November 1995.
- Inventor
for a U.S. Patent, "Method for Controlling Zebra Mussels in Water
Conduits," Patent Number 5,376,282, issued on December 27, 1994.
- Served
two terms as the Chair of Ohio River Basin Consortium for Research and
Education, 1991/93 and 1993/95.
