Must have a number in parentheses at the right of the page.
Must be numbered in the order they appear.
Must be able to be read as part of the text.
Must be referred to using a capitalized name (Eqn. 1).
Must not include *, **, ^, E, or other "computer language" usage
Must have all symbols defined, either in previous text, in text immediately following the
equation, or in a table of symbols.

is the fluid density, v is the fluid velocity, L is a reference length (usually diameter for pipes), and m
is the fluid viscosity.
