Lord of the Dance - Observations

Feet of Flames is the farewell performance of Michael Flatley as Lord of the Dance. It was filmed in the summer of 1998 in England at an outdoor venue. Dancers from Troupe 1 and Troupe 2 were brought together for this performance but the principal dancers from Troupe 1 retained their lead roles.

What a show! If you've visited my other LOTD page then you know that I have been lucky enough to see it in four different venues. The new Feet of Flames video comes the closest to representing the thrill and excitement that I received when present at the live performances. Most, if not all, of the performance is now on video. The video quality (camera work, etc.) is far superior to the original LOTD video.

One final note, if you enjoy reading what others are saying about the show then follow the links on the official Lord of the Dance page to the Visitor's Book then click on the small here that is underlined at the bottom of the Visitor's Book comment form to view what other people have entered (if they don't change the base file names all of the links on my page should work).
