Committee Meeting Minutes
The minutes of the
Action: Motion by Chuck Durista, second
by Miriam Kannan and carried, that the minutes of the
Report of the
Executive Director
Dues and Budget. The budget was presented. A list of dues received and dues outstanding
was discussed. Funds for the purchase of
a plaque were discussed.
Proposal to WVA. Terry reported not much movement on
this. It has not been declined but not
accepted either. It was suggested that
Tammy be requested to take the lead on a request to Ohio DEP. Planned follow up is that Chuck Durista will call Mike Zita to
set up a follow up meeting for Chuck and Terry.
ORBOOK Proposal. The ORBOOK (Ohio River Boat of Knowledge)
proposal will be sent to the senators from VA and OH. The request is for supplemental budget item
for US ACOE. Miriam suggested adding the
senators from KY and PA to the distribution list. Jeanne suggested real-time sensing for the
boat. She will send content of a ISE proposal to Terry for ideas.
Member Directory. Terry indicated we need this new directory to
take on calls to states and agencies to show our numbers.
