ORBCRE Symposium 2008

The Twenty-fourth Annual Scientific Symposium of the Ohio River Basin Consortium for Research and Education (ORBCRE) will be hosted by Carnegie Mellon University, in Pittsburgh PA. The theme for the symposium will be Urban Water and Watersheds in the Ohio River Basin.  Sessions for the symposium will cover a wide range of topics including (but not limited to) historical perspectives, water quality and quantity, watershed management and urban water systems, human effects on water quality, stormwater, wastewater and drinking water in the Ohio and its tributaries, education and outreach, citizen monitoring and restoration.

 

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in fieldtrips, workshops and the conference scientific program.  ORBCRE invites sponsors and exhibitors to participate in the Symposium.  For a tax-exempt donation of $1,000 or more, sponsors will receive two symposium registrations and an exhibition booth plus recognition for cosponsoring coffee breaks.  For a fee of $400, exhibitors will receive a booth space and one registration.  The symposium will publish proceedings listing co-sponsoring organizations.  For more information, please contact:
