| The research group
I'm working with is looking at various problems in the area of highway
traffic noise. We have several
different projects running concurrently, such as a traffic noise barrier
problem on I-71 in Cincinnati, a highway overpass problem in Dayton and
pavement noise classification all over the state of Ohio. Our research
has largely been commissioned by the Ohio Department of Transportation,
who has utilized our findings and recommendations to improve the quality
of life for many Ohioans.
"So what's an electrical engineer doing
in a research group composed of civil and environmental engineers," you
ask?
