2. Identify clear examples of self and/or others' demonstration of at least one of the professional skills in each of the 5 categories of professional skills in the list generated by the class. If using other people as examples, do not give names.

· For each example, compare your evaluation of the actual performance in that situation to the expectations of the profession, using the rating scale and including comments that highlight the differences. Your example can be one of unacceptable performance, meets expectations, or an indication of a true professional - the most important thing is that it is a specific example and that you show your understanding of the skill area by comparing the example to the expectations.

· Comment on your understanding of and your agreement with the expectations of the profession listed in the rating form.

3. Reflect on professional skills

· Recommend changes to the list of skills (additions, deletions, modifications) and the weightings that your team originally proposed

· Recommend changes to the process for performing a performance review (the self and peer rating followed by the face-to-face meeting as used in ME471)

· Recommend changes to the process used in Sr Design for developing professional skills (the discussions and assignments to build awareness and the individual development projects)
