Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Guidelines:

1) System-level DFMA: Each team should include a discussion of system-level manufacturability considerations in the design refinement section of the design report. It will also be discussed in team project review meetings.

2) Subsystem / Component Level: Each individual team member should take responsibility for one or more items from start (Conceptual Design) to finish (manufacturing drawings and plans). As part of this responsibility, each individual will explain their DFMA approach in a short report to be included in the appendix of the design report (and referenced within the report).
