Toyota PM electric concept vehicle

Toyota advanced vehicle engineer and spokesman Bill Reinert says the PM concept is one possible vision of making sustainable mobility available to billions of future drivers who are increasingly crowding into the world's major urban centers at a rate of 180,000 a day.

Currently there are some 800 million vehicles on the planet but Toyota sees this number some day going as high as 3 to 4 billion, which will have to be powered by something other than increasingly rare, expensive and dirty fossil fuels.
