Levels of strategy
Corporate strategy Involves managing a portfolio of businesses and/or SBUs in a large diversified company and directs actions such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures
Business strategy The strategy of each of the corporations’ businesses and/or SBUs (how they will deal with customers, competitors and conditions)
Functional strategy The long-range plan of how a business function (e.g., operations) will support the accomplishment of the business strategy
