Group Assignments: Chapter 1
1. Prepare a concise written critique* of a recent magazine or newspaper article that discusses a problem facing Malaysian manufacturing operations today. What is being done about the problem? (This critique is due at the end of the last day of this week’s classes)
2. Prepare (for tomorrow’s class) a concise paper* that discusses an operations problem facing TNB (and what is being done about the problem).
3. Prepare (and deliver at the beginning of class tomorrow) a concise 10-minute PowerPointÒ presentation in support of item 2 above.
* The critique, paper and presentation should be concise -- something that top-management can assimilate quickly!
