The switch is closed for t ł 0 so i(t) = (v(t) - 5 V.) / 2 W

But v(t) = 2.5e-t/2 + 7.5 V. (t ł 0+)

\ i(t) = (2.5e-t/2 + 7.5 - 5) / 2 \

i(t) = 1.25(1 + e-t/2 ) A. (see next slide for plot)
