What is the definition of the

Superposition property?

If effect E1 results from cause C1

And if effect E2 results from cause C2

And if effect K·E2 results from cause K·C2 (where K is a constant)

Then cause (C1 + K·C2 ) results in

effect (E1 + K·E2 )

And the cause-effect relationship (system) possessing the above superposition property is said to be linear
