The American Society of Mechanical Engineers at Ohio University

"To promote the study of the engineering profession through activities that are both useful and fun for students studying Mechanical Engineering at Ohio University."

The purpose of the ASME student chapter is to provide an initial means of contact with the faculty and staff of the mechanical engineering department of Ohio University, the professional industrial world, guest speakers, and participating in national ASME events. ASME members will begin the process of professional networking by interacting with fellow students and other student ASME chapters.

Membership to the Ohio University ASME chapter is open to any student, staff, or faculty who chooses to participate in ASME events and attend meetings. National ASME membership is not required for membership in the OU ASME chapter.
